About
Our goal is always the same: to remove friction and create experiences that feel effortless, intentional, and deeply cared for.
Refining operations, reimagining the guest journey and creating systems that allow owners and teams to exhale.

Whether it's a luxury mountain retreat, a boutique hotel, a vacation rental, a coffee shop, or even a construction trailer transformed into a welcoming sales office, I've always been drawn to creating environments where people can exhale, feel at ease, and genuinely belong.
That belief became the foundation of Higher Ground Hospitality.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management because I knew early on that hospitality wasn't simply about operations — it was about people. Since then, my career has taken me through nearly every corner of the industry, each chapter shaping the way I serve today.
I had the privilege of serving as General Manager for IHG's boutique Hotel Indigo brand, where I led a team of more than fifty employees while overseeing daily hotel operations, guest experience, revenue performance, and team development. It was there that I learned that exceptional hospitality isn't created by grand gestures. It's built through culture, consistency, thoughtful systems, and countless small moments of care.
From there, I joined a luxury development company as Executive Property Manager, where I built an entire hospitality operation from the ground up. Together with my team, we introduced hotel-level service into luxury apartments and condominiums, overseeing resort-style amenities while creating resident experiences that made home feel extraordinary. We developed wellness programming, fitness classes, coffee service, resident receptions, beach transportation, paddleboarding adventures, and countless opportunities for neighbors to become community.
Since then, I've consulted on boutique hotels, vacation rentals, hospitality recruitment, new coffee shop concepts, boutique resorts, operational systems, and small business development. Every project has reinforced the same lesson: hospitality isn't defined by the building. It's defined by how people feel inside it.
As a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, I bring both an operator's perspective and an owner's perspective to every property I manage. I understand the guest experience, but I also understand the investment behind it. Every recommendation I make is designed to create exceptional stays while protecting and strengthening the long-term value of your property.
"I often say I'm a designer of ease."
People often ask what makes my approach different.
The answer is that I'm deeply intuitive about spaces.
I notice what others overlook. I can walk into a room and immediately sense where tension exists, where flow is interrupted, or where small changes could create a completely different experience. I love interior design, thoughtful details, beautiful systems, and environments that naturally invite people to relax.
Sometimes that means refining operations behind the scenes. Sometimes it means reimagining the guest journey. Sometimes it means creating systems that allow owners and teams to breathe again. Whatever the project, my goal is always the same: to remove friction and create experiences that feel effortless, intentional, and deeply cared for.
That philosophy extends far beyond hospitality.
I'm also a certified Women's Embodiment Coach, and my work in that space has profoundly shaped the way I lead. It has taught me that presence creates trust, that calm is contagious, and that people don't just remember what you provided — they remember how you made them feel.
Those same principles guide every property, every client relationship, and every decision I make.
My personal philosophy
The four elements
The four elements aren't simply part of the Higher Ground Hospitality brand. They're the way I understand my own life and the lens through which I lead.
earth
grounding
Earth reminds me to stay grounded. It teaches me that steadiness creates safety — for owners, guests, my team, and myself.
water
flow
Water reminds me to flow instead of force. For much of my life, I believed everything had to be earned through effort. Water continues to teach me that ease is wisdom.
fire
aliveness
Fire is my passion for creating beautiful experiences. It's the joy I still feel after two decades in hospitality.
air
clarity
Air brings clarity, perspective, and lightness. It reminds me that great leadership doesn't have to feel heavy.
When these elements are in balance, everything changes. Spaces become more welcoming. Teams become more connected. Guests feel genuinely cared for. Owners experience greater peace of mind.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me with my partner and our three children somewhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains — hiking to waterfalls, cooking slow meals at home, lingering over coffee on the porch, or simply soaking in the beauty of an ordinary day.
Because I believe the best hospitality comes from people who practice what they offer.
- Presence.
- Restoration.
- Beauty.
- Ease.
